He has been around a long time.

John 8:48-58  We see that A.  Jesus calls God his father.  He reveals  Abraham saw his day. The people don't understand what he is saying and assume  he is saying he cannot die. 

The day Abraham the prophet saw was that Jesus will die. He is the Ram to be offered who will die for their sins and be raised again.  That is pictured in Isaac. 

Ever been called names? They call him a devil.   sharing Jesus with a hostile world will have the same effect. That is where we take up our cross.  remember the reward from God is far better than the world can give. The Holy Spirit gives joy now and a future with God for eternity.

Jesus has been with the father for eternity, and sees  the future in every detail of our lives. He gives secret victory in every situation.  We need only stay in fellowship with him daily. 

This is remarkable proof of the son.

As we travel through the bible we can find  how words appear in different ways. Here is a amazing list though there are more. 

In Isaiah 41:14 there are 2. He calls him redeemer and Holy one. In the O.T. we won't see him called Jesus.

Mk. 1:24  the unclean spirit confirms Isa. 41. He speaks to Jesus and calls him Holy one. He knows who Jesus is.

Matt. 4"6  the devil is tempting him. If you be the son of God.  The devil calls him son of God ****

In Matt. 3:17 and 17:5 The Father calls him twice this is my beloved son (Jesus)

What a awesome truth.  look at Acts 19:15  the demon says Jesus I know. Paul I know . but who are you.     There is so much here to tell us who do we know?    Jesus tells Thomas blessed are those who have not seen yet believed. John 20:29.

My grandson and his problem solved.

 They make fun of him wherever he goes. He actually appears normal  95% of the time. He wanted to learn about Jesus and be saved. It is not possible to get him to go to church. He has been to several and they make fun of him. esp. bully. He has ADHD.   he is very smart and has much talent.  After coming home from school and being made fun of all day, his grand parents entertain him with love. we played many games and drawing pictures. His favorite is with a balloon and playing monkey in the middle with us. He is very happy and laughing and most of all accepted.

The big problem most don't see.

 It is very much around me. The children mostly.  They play games which involve shooting killing, weapons, and they are off to themselves with no one telling them how important a persons life is. Those who use drugs have a poor focus anyway. The reasoning and thinking is clouded with hate , selfishness, lust for what they cannot have. The things they see are bedded in their minds included is movies with darkness and no light.  even Christian movies are filled with more war or unhappy people.  As I have heard before garbage in and garbage out. we have a choice to be in God's word to live a joyful, prosperous ,happy life without fear.

Iran is modern day Persia.

Just a few weeks before the Iran war there was tremendous signs in the heavens.   They couldn't be mistaken because they were obvious.  

enemies- the new perspective

 it takes a changed mind set to love your enemies. to bless them who use you, abuse you, and say all manner of evil against you. There is a great reason why Jesus made a difference from the O.T. view. The Christian is to be like Jesus offering grace and love instead of the death the law would bring.

Jesus showed that so much that his death on the cross was specifically designed to show love is the greatest one can offer.

The rewards for being a righteous loving person are amazing. why? because faith like Jesus found in Gal. 2:20 is while we take up our cross, that faith is superior and has a reward one cannot comprehend. Jesus said we are joint heirs with him.  we also will be raised. either from the dead or just caught up to heaven where he is.

some battles take a lot of use of weapons.

 The enemy when he comes against you fires his weapons.  Goliath laughed first, he then changed and started using powerful weapons.  He thought he had the upper hand but somehow got serious-that's interesting.  A spear and a little boy. I think his demon was really responding and not Goliath himself. 

The devil knows David was really a supreme force as God was his faith and the word of God was on his tongue. 

We may find the devil contesting and trying to sift us. We must resist fear and bombard him with the positive word of God.  example-- when the enemy comes in like a flood (philistines) the Lord will raise a standard against him-- we should confess many promises as well as the blood.   Especially when we are hurting, he is not playing neither should we.  The word is more powerful than all nuclear put together.
