#11 a truth cast down

In ch. 8:12 of Daniel we have a tremendous point of discernment.

This has been a issue for years.  Preachers who preach Jesus and prosper, even though they cast down the truth.  There is esp. the prosperity preachers.  They share a message which ends with money.  Many of them share some truth mixed with heresy and heretical doctrine.  False concepts of grace.  Little by little some say we are made perfect by Jesus and don't need to live righteous lives---he did it all they say.

You see converts please them, not by how they live but how they give.

In v.12  we see that the truth is cast to the ground and he prospers.  Jesus didn't say, I am the way only.
he also said he is the truth and the life.  To live for God and believe him for supply through the prayer of faith is not always easy.  In Matt. 4:  Satan offered Jesus the world if he would  cast down truth.  Jesus responded  with man must live by and obey the word of God.  Jesus saved us to overcome sin and the world.  He said in Matt. 24:13  he who endures to the end shall be saved.   Endures means there is something we have to do.

I predict there will be more money pull as now there is much talk about the American economy collapse coming.  Those who trust Jesus will prosper more than ever before.

#10 numbers that count.

In Daniel 7:10  we have a comforting vision.  thousands and thousands will stand before the God  of the Christian. Jesus was no failure.  He has many who believed and obeyed his word.

What is this, they ministered to him.  the rivers of waters flow from them.  Jn.7 shows this.  In Rev. 7:17  these fountains come from God and flow through saints.

Many times I have been concerned as some people don't listen.  It is a comfort to know that Dan.7:10 reveals there are many who did.  Win the lost at any cost is not needed.  We don't have to act like the world to win it.  The Holy Spirit is very able to bring in the harvest.  In Jn.4  Jesus just told the woman what the Holy Spirit gave him and she told others and they got saved to.  Jesus our example.

#9 2 prayer problems

This is a opportunity to see a important issue about prayer and faith.

1.   Where did the devil go??

Here he is for Daniel.   Let's look at Dan. ch.6:7.   The problem has come so as to punish those who pray.
If you look at Dan.10:12-13,  you will see it's not just people that is involved here.  The battle is in the spiritual realm.  Are we supposed to think anything has changed??   What a battle mental it is to pray.  To be busy and all kinds of things.  Even long term waiting for answers.  God is learning us faith.  faith involves action.  See Daniel's  faith?  He will pray anyway.  To him it was more important than being put in a lion's den.

Is there a den today??     1Pet. 5:8   the devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom to devour.

We must see that Jesus will be with us in the den.  2Tim. 4:7

Preaching about prayer is easy.  Doing it with answers is another thing.  I like what it said in ch.10:12.
Dan. was heard the first day he prayed righteously.  We must know and have faith we were heard.
God is not deaf and he has total balance ears.  He told Moses who made man's mouth?  God let him know he who makes the mouth , can fix a mouth.  We must remind God we are believing and not insult him by saying he hasn't heard.  He knows before we ask, he is just looking for a true believing heart.

Think about this.   The words in this last paragraph,  reveal how to get answers.  it is obvious the devil will try to keep people from reading this prayer helper material.

The Hebrew people knew about lions also.  Num. 23:24  spiritually  people were seen as a lion.  That is when they rise up like a lion (devil)  against God's people.  Really just like 1Pet. 5:8 isn't it.
For the Hebrews, they should realize why they are in a type of lion den.  They should see hope being Daniel is delivered out of the lion den.

A.  They must pray.  Even though facing things in life that tempt to sin.
B.  They were in this den because they were unfaithful.  yet by the mercy of God would still be protected.
C.   Their captivity would one day end.
D.  There is no escaping the lion den for us, till we're out of here.  When we have the Holy Spirit in us, truly
we are not alone in the den.  People who don't endure are lion's supper. 1Tim.4:1-2  show that the lion is still on the loose.  Jesus is our deliverer.

A spiritual picture in Judges 14:6.    It was not Samson, but the Spirit of God in him that defeated the lion.
See---  it is not weapons here.  2Cor. 10:4  the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God.      God bless.

#8 balance between the ears.

We were looking in post #6 about how God was speaking to Israel while dealing with Babylon.  How he does this in his great wisdom, is to use a situation to deal with Babylon.  That by the way is how he deals with us.  What you are going through if you are being regenerated to be a new creation in Jesus is God's providential workings.  God wants to reveal himself to -say your enemies, and to you at the same time.  Even your trials are working for your good.  Like we said in #6  they were being reminded by the Lord about how he delivered them out of the furnace of Egypt .  That was when he delivered the 3 out of the furnace which ministered to Babylon God's greatness.  Israel was then made to see why they were in Babylon for a 70 year captivity.  God still was merciful and using the 3 man remnant to minister grace to Israel and Babylon.

Now we are in Ch. 5:.   God does this again.  Before we tell it, notice  how the bible  confirms to be true.  The furnace story would be a  fairy tale to a non believer. Until it is understood the wisdom of God in dealing with  Israel and Babylon at the same time concerning the furnace.

There is a deep understanding in ch. 5  God showed me but it is to deep to explain in a post.  There is a awesome thing that will share with you that can be explained today.

This will amaze you.  God speaks to Israel and Babylon again.  He that hath ears let him hear.
Babylon saw that you cannot touch God's anointed vessels either.  We are God's anointed vessels --amen?
The hand writing on the wall was seen and caused  a proud king to be humbled.   Dan. 5:5-6.
This was the son of Nebuchadnezzar .  God humbled Nebu. and now his son. 

I just started a new job 2 days of last week.  The father and his son  were working with me in the training process.  God gave me favor with them.  I pray he will bless them as they bless me.

We see God deals with Babylon with the hand writing on the wall.  He is also dealing with Israel.
The Hebrew people see more clearly than we do because they are dealt with by God  in their language.  The hand writing  which Daniel interpreted  included the word balance.  it was so obvious because  it was made to be a big deal.  We remember that Israel bowed down to the statue of Nebu. but the 3 men didn't.  Israel must learn.  God teaches them about the message Dan. interprets.  They know what balance means in Hebrew.  it is m(ozen)  ayim.  right after the m   you have 4 letters.  ozen  that word in Heb. is ears.  it is only in the past 100 or so years that science found that the ears  are also where we have the balance of our human bodies.  ask a ear  specialist. 

Israel knew this then.  So what did they know God was saying??  What we read in Rev. 2-3.  He that hath a ear let him hear.  One must balance what he hears.  1.  what is truth and error. 2. what is God saying as to what I'm hearing.  There it is.  Like a prophesy from a prophet.  If Israel don't get their hearts right and start hearing God with their ears so as to obey him and his word, they will be judged also.  The hand writing is  still today.  If Israel doesn't get cleansed by the blood of Jesus, They will go into Jacob's trouble. ( the 7 year tribulation period to be cleansed.)  They must  receive Jesus as yom Kipper.   Jesus will return after that period and set up his throne in Jerusalem.  Jews and gentiles will be united.  Jesus will be king for a 1,000 years.  God's great word from the bible,  helps us to maintain a balance---  God and righteousness.  

#7 key to book of Daniel

Ch. 4:8-9  reveals to us the key to the whole book.  Now that is not the main theme but key only.

We know Daniel was a Prophet.  We don't have record of the 3 men his friends being Prophets.  God was with them also.  The Holy Spirit is the key.  It is by their having God's Spirit working with and through them that they were over comers.  We don't need the Holy Spirit baptism today, is a huge mistake.  Just think, if Daniel didn't tell Nebu. the dream all his friends and servants to the king, and himself would be dead. 

Let me give you a example of that for my testimony.
many years ago while street evangelizing,  a gang of men walked up while I was sharing Jesus with a child.  This was in a bad area, but no problem for me.  They wanted to go for a ride.  They were saying silly things but no threats.  My mind couldn't think unless it was peace.  They got in back seat and started joking and saying strange things.  Then all of a sudden the Lord spoke into my spirit a word of knowledge.  I knew it wasn't me because never heard or thought to use a bible story that way.

All of a sudden it just rolled out of my mouth.  The story of Samson. Began to tell of the jawbone of a ass. How Samson fought with a 1,000 men.  Then I asked a question.  Do you know what Samson did with the jawbone of the ass?  I slapped the middle between the front seats and said " he beat the fire out of them.  While I was amazed that that came out of my mouth, they became scared stiff.  Stop the car, we gotta get out of here.  stop, stop, they were in a hurry.  They all fled out at once.

Though wasn't afraid, am not the kind of person God made me to be at that moment.  You see I at that time would fight no one.  God saved me from big trouble there.  By his word and gift.  The Holy Spirit did it.

I could spoil you, but rather you look for yourself.  Do a quick look through the 12 chapters of Daniel
and be looking for a supernatural event in each ch.  The book is for the time of the end.  That would be the last days.  He the Holy Spirit will lead and guide into all truth.

Here is what God showed me today.  After writing it down it took 4 whole pages.  Cannot tell you what it was, but how he gave it.  It started with walking from house to other house.  the sky was beautiful with sunshine.  just before enter house the clouds began to build up. it was fast.  In the house looked out the window and it was dark and looked like rain coming.  2-5 minutes and sun again.  Looked out window and could see shadows across peoples yards. meaning the clouds passing over their land moving quickly. Then came the words, clothed.  Remembering Jesus was clothed with the clouds.  All sounds strange I know.  But look. it all led to Rev. 7:9 

There was a great multitude in heaven, from all nations, kindred , people and tongues.  They couldn't be numbered.  They stood before the throne and the Lamb.  clothed with white robes. and palms in their hands.  Guess what??????    Today is palm Sunday.   see that word clothed?

That's not all!!!!!     What did Nebu. say in  this chap. 4:1?   Just a minute.  In chap. 3 he says to all worship the image.  Then he is changed into a beast and humbled.  Now in 4:1 he says  to all people,
nations and languages.  He gives a testimony about God.  v. 34-35  he praises and gives God glory.

Read Rev.7:9 again.  So to make it clear----  what is happening in Rev. 7:9 is happening in Dan.4:1, 34-35. 

A.  I saw the clouds.  then heard , clothed with clouds.  was led to look at the word clothed until found  Rev. 7:9   This was where found the word palms.----on palm Sunday.
Then the ch.4: study we have here.  we see Nebu. and Rev.9 picture concerning nations, peoples, languages etc.   The climax--- they are all in heaven and cannot be counted, who are giving glory to the God of heaven---Daniel's God.   The Lamb is Jesus Christ. 

To God be all glory , honor and praise.

#6 a double message.

We are still in Ch.3----  we were dealing with the fire furnace last time.  Here is some amazing knowledge that will  reveal how God can speak two messages at one time  using one message.

God does this more than we can imagine.  The O.T. message also speaks to us in many ways to apply to our lives.  Prophesy is very often  a double message. It is for spiritually discerning people though.

First of all we have the king and all Babylon encountering God by his miracles with Daniel and his 3 men.  He is a leader is why he dominates.  ( a Prophet).   all four are just 4 great men.  So do you see the message Babylon is getting?   right,  Babylon is meeting the God of Israel.

Now the same message to Babylon  is for Israel, but there is a second message.  This message you probably didn't know.  turn to Deut. 4:20-27.    when you read  all of that you saw in v.20  how God delivered Israel out of the iron furnace of Egypt.  He used great miracles  just like with 3 men  and furnace.  v.24  God is a consuming fire.  v.27  God will scatter them among the nations.  In this case Babylon.  The Hebrews knew their Torah well.  They were to not worship gods or the heavens.

1Ki.8:51  confirms this.   The iron furnace of Egypt.   Note this is in the book of kings. 
2Ki. 17:16  here is the  statement of what Israel did.  they worship Baal,  hosts of heaven,  make images and groves.  

Now look at this----  2 Ki. 24:12-16   They all go to Babylon by Nebus. siege.   including  Daniel and
Shadrach, Meshach, and Nebedneg.   Do you think they remember David and Goliath?  How God delivered him  out of the paw of the lion and bear?  Then Goliath. 

Do you think they remember Job 4:10  the broken lion teeth.  or Psalm  22:21  or 91:13.

That lion part is with Daniel and the lions den. 

The point there is the furnace and the lion,  were scriptures that they may have thought of while in captivity.  We see God doing that for them while dealing with Babylon.  He is  showing how his miracles to help them in the past were  , visual to them by miracles turning Babylon to their God.
He could have by passed them and saved another nation.  Remember Nineveh and Jonah?  All Nineveh repented.  That is a humbling to Israel.  We see that though they are  so used to disobey Deut. 4:20-27   they need mercy while bowing to the Nebu. image.  So they see 3 men in a furnace and how they were delivered.  Just like Israel out of the furnace of Egypt.

Just tapping into N.T. passages.  2Tim. 4:17 and  1Pet. 5:8.  the spiritual picture.

Israel never learns--- see Deut. 4:30  it is talking about the great tribulation which is like a fire furnace to cause them to return unto him---they will.  We see God loves them and desires to give mercy unto repentance. The trying of our faith is more precious than gold. To purify us.  For his soon return.
