Ex. 7:1 the real key.

throughout this study of Exodus we are looking at how many patterns point to Jesus through the actions of Moses.  This one here is the key.  Moses will be like God to Aaron.  He will also be like God to us.  It is probable that though this is extensive research we will find many more in posts to come.  Some of them will not be shared because they are to deep to understand.  If you are understanding so far you are doing well.

Now look at Jn. 10:33-34.   You read these words and it's easy to miss how big this is.      in v.33  He is accused of saying he is God.      Look at this,  _____I said____ye are gods. v.34.
Ps. 82:6   ye are gods.   in v.  8   How will God inherit all nations?  When Jesus comes to sit on the throne of David. Zech. 14:9
Jn. 20:27-28  after Thomas saw he was alive with the proofs of nail prints in his hands, He calls him my Lord and ----my God.

Ex.6: 6:8 the father's pleasure.

Ex.6:8   we have all this wonderful promise, to give the land to Israel.

Lk. 12:32  we have here where it is the father's good pleasure, to give the kingdom of God to his people.
Lk. 17:21  the kingdom of God will be within you.  If it is within you that must be that it is also yours now as well as heaven.   Jn. 14:17  shows the Holy Spirit will be in you.

just as Canaan was their life so shall the Holy Spirit be our life.  Jn.10:10  Jesus came to give us life not just heaven.

Ex. 6:3 another view of God.

Gen. 17:1  Abraham  God known as almighty.
Gen. 28:3  Isaac                                  "
Gen. 35:11   Jacob                              "  almighty means power.
6:3   Moses  knows him as Yahweh.  that name includes all of God's greatness and not just his power.

Matt. 16:13-17  who do they say I am?
Heb. 13:8  and  20.   unchangable  and eternal,   This means absolute and not just a God of power. God

Ex.6:3 God's greatness.

Ex.6:3 We have Abraham, Isaac , Jacob,  who know God as a God of power.
Moses knew him differently.  He was absolute God  who is immutable and eternal.

Matt. 16:13-17  Jesus wants to know, who do men say he is?

Heb. 13:8 and 20  He is immutable , the same  yesterday today and forever.  and he is the giver of a everlasting covenant by his blood.

Compare these 2 ----Ex. 6:8  He gives Abraham the promised land
1Cor. 3:21-22  all things are yours, even the world.

Col. 1:16  all things were created by and for Jesus.

Ex. 5:1 a feast worth waiting for.

In Ex. 5:  they go and tell Pharaoh to let them go.  Pharaoh refuses them. They told him they wanted to go to have their feast to the Lord which was a custom.   No feast could match the one God would give them.  They had to wait a little while.  They were going to have the greatest feast of their lives.
In Ex. 12  we see that they had the feast of the Lamb which they call pass over. The same time they eat without leavened bread as commanded. It must be unleavened.  That left the bread pure.  That feast would always be the next day in their future.

In the time of the pass over meal  in the future, the Jews do a special thing.  They think it means something else and are really in for a surprise when they find out what it is.  I will tell it.
For years they have this in their yearly feast up till this day.  They call it a treat.  The young son is to look for a napkin just after the cup #3  that they drink.   This wine is grape wine and is what is symbolized by the cup of communion we take as representing the blood of Jesus for our salvation.

Papa is to hide the neatly wrapped napkin so the son will look for it. In the napkin is the middle piece of .  matza bread  There were 3.
In John 20:7  we have the telling of how the napkin on his head was separate from the linen he wore.  The word wrapped means it was folded. it lay separately.
In Jn.6:51 we have much said about Jesus being  the bread of life which is also eaten at communion with the #3 cup.  The napkin which holds the dessert treat is folded  with the bread in it. Jesus gave that sign when folding the napkin over his head.

remember all these things were done as instructed by God to Moses.

remember Jesus who represents the unleavened bread--pure-- said to the disciples beware of the leaven of the Pharisees which is false doctrine.  leaven is known by most as sin.  Jesus was the unleavened  bread who was not a sinner on the cross.

Jn.6  he was the bread of life from heaven .

read 1cor.5:7-8  He is our pass over and he is the unleavened bread  v.8 says leaven of malice and wickedness. He is the unleavened.

Now look at this.  Rev. 19:9  In heaven the Christian will eat the marriage supper of the ---Lamb.*****
This is because the bride his people have made themselves ready.
That is a feast we have to wait for. But our deliverance from this world like their deliverance from Egypt, will be a feast with the Lamb instead of just eating a Lamb.  We are eating the bread of life now though.

Ex. 4:17 who is holding the rod?

This is a little deeper to understand but is very good to understand.
Many times Moses commanded to stretch forth his hand holding the rod God told him would do wonders.

In Isa. 11:1  is the prophesy that a rod would come forth from Jesse. He would be called the branch. David Jesse's son has already lived and gone on.   In those days all people came under one name.  There was no last name.  You were of Israel and called of  David.  Jesus was of Israel.
Like Moses the saints who overcome in the end,  Rev. 2:27,  will rule also with a rod of iron.  the second part of v.27  shows it  isn't  Jesus. but it is Jesus there in the second part.  Must read all around that verse to see he's talking to the church.  v.26  they who overcome will also rule nations.
see also Jer. 23:5  the branch.

The bride and the bridegroom will come together and  rule in the Millenium.    Yet we are still called kings and priests   do know there is neither male nor female distinction there.  All are the bride of Christ.
see  1Cor, 4:8,     2Tim. 2:12,      Rev. 5:10   we shall reign with him on earth.  This passage  is future. All after ch.4 is.
Rev. 20:6   reign with him a 1,000 years.

Ex. 3:2 a non consuming fire.

Just to throw this in , 1Pet. 4:12-13  a fiery trial here turns to be a benefit for rejoicing.

James 1: shows us it purifies us like gold,  we allow it to remove from us the sins.

Ex.3:2  the pre-incarnate Christ is talking to Moses.    in Dan. 3:7  there he is again. the furnace.
Isa. 43:2  the fire will not harm you literally.
Acts 2:27  Though Jesus didn't go in the fire of Hades,  it is telling us that he will not go but be raised. We know if he wasn't raised then we couldn't be. We therefore have hope that he will come to get us at the sound of the trumpet.
Moses was not consumed by the fire which came on the mountain at receiving the commandments.
The tie in is when  Jesus not burned by the bush or burned in Hades.  We can also see that if we were in a fire we would be delivered.  If God will do that you will not lose your clothes  or be burned on your face or body.

Ex. 3:5 new shoes.

Ex.3:5  put off thy shoes for the ground is holy.
v.8  I am come down to deliver thee.  This is the angel of God--pre-incarnate Christ speaking.
in Joshua ch.5:15   he is the captain of the Lord's host.
Josh. 1:3  he is already told wherever his sole of shoe touches it is given him as a possession.
because the land of blessing is given them, it would also be like the gospel of good tidings of blessings given to us.
Eph. 6:15  all of this supernatural armor is called armor of light.  it is metaphorical of what is really the captain of the Lord fighting for us.  having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
The  walk of the believer is called--  2Cor. 5:7  we walk by faith not by sight.   David says--
Ps. 18:33  he makes my feet like hinds feet and makes me to walk on my high places.  it is how that all enemies will be defeated by the Lord.
a.  as  captain fight to give land of blessing
b.  Gospel of peace is shalom --peace--- total well being. including protect from enemies.
2Tim. 1:7  not given a spirit of fear, but power ,love, and sound mind.  spirit of fear is a enemy.  Sound mind is peace.     This is how Moses and Jesus apply to feet of gospel.
